Be a 'Friend,' lift up Herron

During this unprecedented time, Herron School of Art and Design continues to rise to the occasion. While the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way we serve our extraordinary students, we continue to adapt and provide students with the resources and support networks to help them achieve their creative and educational goals.

But we can't do it on our own. Philanthropic support from friends like you makes all the difference today, as we successfully recruit and retain a diverse student body and provide the technology and resources needed for learning and teaching in new and innovative ways.

We invite you to become a Friend of Herron by making a gift to the school's general fund. Your support will help us to emerge as a stronger and more resilient school on the other side of today's challenges.

Now is the time to invest in the visual arts. Artists, designers, educators, historians and art therapists bring new and varied facets to the forefront of equity, inclusion and diversity. Their voices and actions encourage critical dialogue and offer new perspectives on current and future social issues.

Arts patron and former curator of contemporary art at the Indianapolis Museum of Art (Newfields), Holly Day shares:

"I support Herron through the Friends of Herron because I believe it is one of the most outstanding art schools in America, not only because of its dedicated faculty and excellent facilities, but also because of the diverse types of art offered to students. The students and faculty, as well as visiting artists, contribute significantly to the beauty of our city. Considering the size of Indianapolis, we have quite a lively art scene and Herron is certainly a big part of it."

Won't you join Holly and others by becoming a Friend of Herron today? With a minimum donation of $50, you'll become an insider to what's going on with students, faculty, alumni and community partners.
