Graduate Admissions

The Herron graduate student experience

Herron’s graduate program offers a rich and supportive learning environment to students who are serious about expanding their practice and methods into new directions.

You will explore your discipline by experimenting with other techniques, materials, and processes in a constructive and collaborative setting. Herron’s coveted studios and workspaces are packed with the tools and technology to shape your ideas into a comprehensive and visionary body of work.

Graduate students tour a gallery space during the Grad Open House.

Grad Open House 2016

Herron Open House is a half-day event with an afternoon informational session and an evening reception. Explore Herron’s graduate programs, learn about the curriculum and financial awards, meet with faculty, and tour Herron’s facilities.

Herron will waive the $60 IUPUI online application fee for Grad Open House attendees. (You will still have to pay the $10 fee to Slideroom as this fee goes directly to Slideroom and not to Herron or IUPUI.) Unfortunately, we are unable to waive the $65 IUPUI online application fee for international applicants.
