Through Herron Community Learning Programs, you can try something new or hone an existing creative skill with dynamic instruction in a relaxed learning environment. Classes are open to educators, artists, designers, and community members over the age of 18.

2025 Adult Art Camp

This three day camp for adults ages 18 and up allows participants to experiment and build their skills with acrylic painting, fiber arts, bookmaking, cyanotype prints, and mixed media. Join a community of creatives and our experienced instructions in the studios at Herron School of Art and Design. Space is limited to 20 participants.

Dates: June 16-18, 2025
Location: Eskenazi Hall
Times: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Cost: $200 per person

While completing the online registration form secures a student's spot in a summer session, enrollment is not guaranteed until full payment is received.

All sessions are discounted for IU affiliates and Indiana educators. Please email sschool@iu.edu for the discount code.

Fridays, 3:30–4:10 p.m. in Eskenazi Hall rooms HR 259 and HR 269 featuring student work created that week. Stop by and show your support.

Eskenazi Hall is located on the IU Indianapolis campus at 735 W. New York St. Check-in for Herron's Community Learning Programs takes place immediately after entering the building's main doors on the west side.

Parking is available in the Sports Complex Garage (875 W. New York St.), adjacent to Eskenazi Hall, or on levels 5 and 6 of the Riverwalk Garage (245 University Blvd.), southwest of the building.
