John Herron Society

Annual gifts in the name of John Herron

The John Herron Society is a fitting tribute to the school’s first benefactor, whose charitable gift created the John Herron Institute through a bequest made in 1895.

Established in 2002, during Herron’s centennial year, the John Herron Society continues to celebrate Herron’s philanthropic spirit and acknowledges annual, unrestricted gifts of $1,000 or more.

These gifts provide for the school’s newest initiatives, most pressing needs, and unforeseen opportunities that arise during the current year. As the school’s leadership giving group, the John Herron Society plays a critical role in helping the school continue its important academic mission and outreach to the community.
