About

Prior to her role as an art therapist, Sentir spent 16 years in the field of addiction neuroscience at IU School of Medicine as a research analyst and project manager for a variety of grants. Her work in pre-clinical research focused on single and polysubstance use in rodent models of schizophrenia and genetic addiction vulnerability. She currently works as a co-project manager and direct service provider on the Indiana Community Catalyst Witham-Inwell grant offering integrated behavioral and primary healthcare to an under-resourced, rural population. Sentir enjoys working within this collaborative team to provide multifaceted and holistic care to all clients and, in particular, those with dual diagnosis and serious mental illness. She also has a private art therapy practice in Lebanon, IN where she focuses on women's issues as well as perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.
