The belief that the American dream is an achievable idea has left the American society with an engrained 1950s flavor that is a lingering taste in everyone’s life. The façade has changed but the ideas and structures have not.
Using found objects with a fetishized façade the work explores the folding of time between the 1950s and present times and the absurdities of the structures of the American dream and how these very ideas are the downfall of the American dream.
