Sculpture by James O. Clark
June 15 – August 31, 2022
Berkshire, Reese and Paul Galleries
Basile Gallery
Eskenazi Hall
For over thirty years, James O. Clark has been inspired by the properties of light and the production of experimental sculptures that employ it as a medium. The 23 works on display in this exhibition were created between 1993 and 2000 and purposefully reflect the range and scope of Clark's sculptural light-based investigations. Balloons, neon, car parts, bubble and fog machines, water, helium, fluorescent lights, fiber-optic cables and electroluminescent wire, and live chickens are all represented in his work.
This exhibition was organized by the Clara M. Eagle Gallery at Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky. It was supported by the Creative Motif Fund in New York.

If I Stay
Before I Leave
Images by Torry Brown
June 15 – August 31, 2022
Marsh Gallery
Eskenazi Hall
Torry Brown is a photographer and image-maker whose primary focus has been exploring the complicated relationship between feeling a part of and apart from a landscape. His work is centered on emotion and perception, with images conveying the feelings of an experience and emphasizing the pliability of memory that inevitably follows those fleeting moments.
Brown graduated from Herron School of Art and Design in 2022 and will attend Yale University this fall to begin a Master of Fine Arts in photography at the Yale School of Art.
