A variety of disciplines, methods, and media are introduced to imagine, design, plan, build, and complete finished works for portfolio and skill building. Coursework includes drawing, painting, sculpture, digital rendering and fabrication, art theory and history, and photography.

Sessions and seminars on university application processes, professional practices, project management, and creative career tracks are provided.
Lunch breaks include guided visits to eateries, libraries, and bookstores to explore IUPUI’s dynamic urban campus.
Honors Art and Design culminates in a final Friday filled with critique, reflection, celebration, and panel discussions with Indianapolis artists and creative professionals.
