Many hours of classroom experience

The art education program at Herron puts you in front of the classroom and behind the scenes. You will co-teach both elementary and secondary classes, develop lesson plans using apps and iPads, and collaborate with local schools to develop art curriculum.

High job placement

The job placement for art teachers who graduate from Herron is high—usually 100 percent. The need for art education is everywhere, in both public and private schools, and the Herron degree guarantees your competency and experience teaching at all grade levels.
