Michelle is a Board-Certified, Registered Art Therapist and Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She has worked in a variety of settings with children, adolescents, families, and women, specializing in medical art therapy and trauma. In 2010, Michelle was the founding art therapist of the art therapy program at Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health. She is a past president of the Indiana Art Therapy Association and a long-time member of the American Art Therapy Association. Currently, Michelle works for Cancer Support Community of Central Indiana through local hospitals and in a group private practice on the west side of Indianapolis. Michelle earned her Bachelors in Art and Associated Studies with double emphases in ceramics and painting and a minor in psychology from the University of Evansville. Her Masters of Art Therapy Counseling degree was granted by Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
