The John Herron Society is a fitting tribute to the school’s first benefactor whose charitable gift created the John Herron Institute in 1902. Today, we continue to celebrate his philanthropic spirit as we recognize the John Herron Society.
Established in 2002, during Herron’s centennial year, the John Herron Society acknowledges unrestricted gifts of $1,000 or more and provides for the school’s newest initiatives, most pressing needs and unforeseen opportunities that arise. As the school’s leadership giving society, the John Herron Society plays a critical role in helping the school continue its important academic mission and outreach to the community.
