Sculpture I

Basic consideration of three-dimensional form and sculptural concepts. Exposure to various related materials, techniques, and processes—idea generation, development and critical thinking and problem solving skills. Prerequisite: Foundation year

Sculpture II
3 credits

Basic consideration of three-dimensional form and sculptural concepts. Exposure to various related materials, techniques, and processes—idea generation, development and critical thinking and problem solving skills. Prerequisite: Foundation year

Sculpture III

3 or 6 credits

Emphasis on creative expression, critical analysys and discourse, introduction to public and community based art, development of individual directions through a variety of sculptural media. Prerequisites: S201-S202, D201-D202

Sculpture V

Concentrated, specialized study of sculpture, with emphasis on extensive research in pursuit of individual direction. Active participation in public and community based opportunities and commissions. Prerequisites: S301-S302
