The Marsh Gallery is a dynamic venue for the presentation of quality, diverse and contemporary art exhibitions and installations adding value to the educational experience at the school and in the community. The gallery highlights the work of faculty and students at the Herron School of Art and Design and is made possible by a generous gift from Don and Marilyn Marsh.

Mission

The primary mission of the Marsh Projects Gallery is to share with the community creative work by the students of the Herron School of Art and Design. By doing so this gallery extends the educational goals of the school beyond the studio/classroom and into the realm of gallery installation and presentation. The Marsh Gallery also offers exhibition opportunities to artists and designers from within the region, as well as alumni, and visiting professionals in the fields of art and Design.

Location

The Marsh Gallery is located on the main floor of Eskenazi Hall at the east end.

Call for proposals

Herron School of Art and Design is seeking proposals for its 2008/09 exhibition schedule in the Marsh Gallery. A proposal should include a completed application form, a written statement of no more than two pages describing the exhibition, and images (slides, photographs, digital files) of the actual pieces to be exhibited.

Exhibitions must be up for a minimum of one week but for no more than four weeks. The Gallery Director will accept proposals on an ongoing basis.
