My latest body of work explores the fine line between memory, the subconscious, fantasy, and mental/emotional processing scribed on the surface of the canvas. The assortment of people, objects, and animals in my paintings point to typical Midwestern suburban lifestyles, and pop culture media.
Each work is a resurrection of forgotten experiences, images, and moments that demand our full attention, grieving, and celebration in today’s fast paced culture.
